Grandma's Sloppy Joe Meat
Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef chuck
- 1/2 cup finely chopped sweet onion
- 2 ribs finely chopped celery with leaves
- 1/4 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
- 1 finely minced clove of garlic
- 1 2/3 cup crushed tomatoes
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon steak sauce
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- In a large skillet brown all the beef and then drain the fat
- Add in the onion, green pepper, garlic, and celery and simmer for ten minutes
- Add in the rest of the ingredients and simmer for half an hour
