Chicken Stew
Recipe is for 1 pint jar - scale to however many you want to make.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup diced chicken breast
- 1/2 cup diced yellow potato
- 1/8 cup diced carrot
- 1/8 cup corn
- 1/8 cup diced onion
- 1/8 cup peas
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon celery seed
- x chicken broth
Instructions
- Raw pack meat into bottom of jar.
- Add all ingredients.
- Fill with broth to 1 inch of headspace.
- Debubble and adjust level.
- Clean jar rims with ethanol and tighten on lids.
- Pressure can 75 minutes for pints or 90 minutes for quarts, both with 15 pound weight.
- Remove rings and test seal when cool.
- When ready to eat, heat with 1 tablespoon of flour and serve with a biscuit.
